Mai Shiranui classic outfit is back!

Today there has been a Nintendo Direct with a bunch of new games like a new 2D Metroid, a new Kirby… it has been one of the better ones in my opinion, but the highlight for me has been that Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is finally arriving to Switch 2, there are 2 versions, the “vanilla” version for 20€ or the game and the 3 DLC passes (with all the announced characters and 1 or 2 that hasn’t been revealed yet) for 30€ (pretty good prices no matter how you look at it), BUT, the main point (and it wasn’t even in the Nintendo Direct) is that the classic outfit of Mai is finally beign released like a preorder bonus for Switch 2 (fear not, there is a 0% chance that it isn’t beign released for all the other system, just probably paid and a bit later).

A look to the different editions of “Viaje al Centro de la Tierra” (8-16 bits)

Console game systems standardised the way that game cases should look for each system so with just a glance you know perfectly if it’s a Swith 2 or a PS1 game, but with computers (specially in the 80’s & 90’s), well, each publisher would pick whatever they feel fit the project and would put it apart from other rival games… that’s not to say there wasn’t any standard, cassettes or disks had their standardised cases and were used more often than not by publishers but not always, and that’s the important part, I’m going to show up some of these more unique game boxes (specially Spanish ones) like i did with Lorna some time ago. Let’s take a look to Viaje al Centro de la Tierra by Topo Soft, with a wonderful cover done by Azpiri.
